It was around 2015 when the Vessel team decided to give content to the afternoons in our city. A city very suitable for the afternoons but in which they had never really worked.
The good progress of the venue and a great support from the management of the venue, made this bet consolidate week by week, evening by evening.
Live music
in Valencia
First we went for local bands that played rumba and flamenquito versions. Word spread and soon many groups were knocking on our door to come and play at our tardeos. As the months went by, bands from Seville, Granada, Madrid, etc. started to join the list of bands that visited us every Saturday afternoon.
In 2022, when our Friday Afternoon-Afterwork sessions were starting to become established, we thought it was time to add live music content to them.
In order to give a different identity to the Saturday afternoons and to reach a different audience we thought that POP cover bands could fit in, and so it was. During this year we have had groups from Cádiz, Seville, Madrid, and some local groups with great success.
At Vessel we love music and if it’s live, even better!
